This is a old world Italian type restaurant. The menu is some more limited but everything is excellent. You will feel welcome anytime you go here. We have been going to this restaurant for about the last 20 years and never disappointed. Parking is quick and easy.

This place is a hidden gem. Once you're inside it's dim, cozy and quite. We ordered the fried calamari which were so light and crispy along with a linguine seafood pasta entree. The only thing that annoyed me were the menu prices. When we received the bill, the price on the bill didn't reflect the menu price. I know everything has gone up but you have to update the menu to reflect the current price since consumers do not like surprises once the bill arrives. Overall, decent spot.

Classic Staten Italy restaurant, for a great meal and outstanding service, it's worth the traffic along 278 to 440. Although the cross island traffic can be frustrating, once you make it to DaNoi, traffic seems worth it. Wonderful meal to celebrate my father's 30th anniversary. I always jump at the invite to join them for dinner on the Island. My father and his wife are early bird dinners but they know how to pick em. Started with delicious Insalata Blanca - finely sliced endive, with Hearts of palm and artichokes, tossed in lemon dressing. Fried calamari and a pot of mussels make for a great combo to share and was 5 stars !! For my meal I has pasta special, sautéed broccoli rabe, tomato and shrimp. Perfectly pared with orecchiette pasta- MUAH full chef kiss !! Dessert was a must, tiramisu was made fresh daily and tasted like heaven. Location is tricky, I drove passed it and had to turn around in the warehouse loop. Parking on sidewalk or if you can find a spot and walk to restaurant.

Wonderful dining experience! The restaurant ambiance recalls old Italy while the service and friendliness of the staff is unequalled. This was my first time dining at this establishment and the food and service were exceptional. I will dine her again without hesitation.

So glad a local recommended his favorite neighborhood Italian to us. From the spinach ravioli in blush sauce, to the fresh Italian bread, to the creamiest, most delectable tiramisu ever, this was unforgettable. I am fond of tiramisu, so order it frequently, and this was best rendition of past decade, including in Boston, San Fran and Manhattan. Can't recommend highly enough. Owner made a point to introduce himself. Charming man who now runs 5 restaurants. May have to stop at his Bayonne, NJ location, exit 14A off the Turnpike, on the way home to Delaware. Lots of wonderful classics on menu. Lots of regular customers here for a reason.
